The Run to the Sun 2022 was a very successful race: characterised by the ascent from Cassarate to the summit of Monte Brè (along the route of the historic funicular railway) with no less than 1.6 kilometres and approx. 700 metres of altitude difference.
The race, organised by us with the support of TPL and other supporters, had 110 participants, with the first runner starting at 18:45, followed by all the others, with an interval of 30 seconds between one participant and the next.

1st Roberto Delorenzi (SUI) from Ticino, fresh from a 1’500 metre race in the afternoon, in 20’20”.
