Even in winter you can use the historic Funicular and reach the top of Monte Brè and enjoy the beautiful view during adventurous hikes.
After a short break of just 6 weeks, the Funicular will be back in service from Saturday 18 February :
– every day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with departures every 30 minutes.

Fo this event, we offer you 50% discount (to be applied on the adult fare round trip) for the 18 and 19 february.

The voucher cannot be combined with other discounts and may be used once per person.

Monte Brè restaurants
With the new season, the culinary offer at the summit of Monte Brè is renewed. The Osteria Funicolare welcomes a new ownership and offers the opportunity to combine its traditional dishes with the experience of the Funicular ride by purchasing the combo ticket. Moreover, the restaurant can accommodate up to 30 people in its unique, newly renovated indoor hall, perfect for private events upon reservation. The Ristorante Vetta will reopen in March as usual. From both restaurant terraces, you can appreciate a unique view over the Gulf of Lugano Lake.
